I grew up in the backyard of Silicon Valley, enamored by the likes of Atari, the Apple II and Nintendo that inspired our current generation of computer nerds making the products we use on a daily basis. I have a degree in EE/CS from UC Berkeley, and did research in semiconductors in Japan before working for Canon, Inc. I left my engineering job to pursue another career, but I'm still an avid electronics hobbyist and I enjoy writing reviews on consumer electronics!
